The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at UAH offers courses towards an
MSE degree with a major option in Environmental Engineering and a minor in
Management through the UAH Distance Learning Program. Students must be admitted
to the UAH graduate school to receive graduate credit (See CEE Department
Graduate Handbook). Full admission to graduate school is required prior to
completion of 12 hours.
Admission Requirements:
1.
Student must be a graduate of an ABET accredited engineering program.
2.
Student must have a GPA of at least 3.0 for undergraduate course work. Students
with a 2.7-3.0 GPA may petition to the graduate school for admission after
completion of the GRE with a score greater than 1500.
3.
Prerequisite completion may be required for students found to be in need of
fluid mechanics, chemistry, and thermodynamics.
4.
The GRE may be waived for students with at least 5 years of engineering
experience or a P.E. license.
